There was an old lady named Katie, who lived at the end of I-80....just kidding....I'm not really going to write this in limerick...no matter how tempting. I grew up in Utah. I'm a middle child with lots o' siblings. I moved out to California for about 10 years. Now I've moved back to Utah and am living with one of my many sisters and her family. This has worked out beautifully for three reasons: rent is wonderfully cheap (good thing,the job switch from librarian technician to independant consultant is a new thing. I could fire myself at any moment), it keeps me from thinking the world revovles around me (most of the time), AND my nephew has assured me that if this whole internet thing doesn't work out, I can live with him and his future wife.... in his attic... with a bunch of cats... and become Crazy Katienana. I can't tell you what a relief it is to have my future secure. I'm a little concerned about the cats though. I'm not really an 'indoor pet' kind of person.

I like to travel and have been to some pretty great places....from Arches National Park (my favorite National Park) to Paris and various assundry places in between. I like to read. I volunteer at the library so I'm up on the latest and greatest books out. I love music...and am often humming or singing to myself (I swear, I do this subconsciously and am really trying to stop). I guess you could call me a spectator kind of person. I like to watch...movies, sports events, museums (does that count as 'spectating'?) plays, musicals, concerts (I guess that's more listenating than spectating). I'm also an amazing painter...of walls...and ceilings....and various assundry paintable things like cupboards and furniture. I'd tell you more but then we'd have nothing to talk about.
