Hi!
I am down to earth, somewhat liberal, intelligent,
even perhaps a little hippy. I still don't have
the VW vanagon that I have been dreaming about, so
I am not quite able to elevate to the status of a
genuine hippy. I dig real people, genuine people,
my favorite book is called "Mutant
Message Down Under." I also like the
Dalai Lama's "The Art of
Happiness."
I love life and all of it's opportunities.
My dream in life is to be an influential teacher
in the lives of many students, friends, and family
members.
I love roughing it in the backcountry year round.

I enjoy nature to the fullest extent possible. I
appreciate all it has to offer, without taking
away from it's beauty.
I believe in self powering all of my outdoor
adventures without the use of SUVs etc etc etc
(Sorry SUV ers).
There is something about the serenity of a quiet
night in the tip tops of the mountains that really
soothes the body, mind, and soul.
Aside from my love of Kayaking, camping, hiking,
and backpacking, I am a budding artist. Atleast I
keep telling myself that, I am still waiting for
my brilliant masterpieces to come..as I push my
creativity day by day.
I am always interested in learning new things. My
most recent hobby, is knitting. I have quilted a
plethera of quilts, one of which I won second
prize in my high school science fair. Each square
was died with the extracts of plants I had found
near my house. But it is not all domestics and
outdoorsy stuff either, I am quite well rounded, I
spent summers with my grandfather, and learned how
to drive a tractor at harvest time, weld a hitch,
even make picture frames.
I enjoy volunteer work, and hope to be an activist
in grassroots organizations as long as I am living
and able.
My family is important to me, as are most
families...I enjoy being with my family, and
always willing to be the first to start the first
water fight of the year.
