Describe myself? EEEEeeek!
hmmmm.....I suppose I would have to say I'm
Eclectic....I have lots of interests and
activities I like to involve myself in.
I have 3 cats, 1 dog, and 3 kids. The cats and
two of the kids have returned to roost for now,
and I am grateful for the company if a bit harried
trying to keep up the juggling act I call my life!
(laughing) You cant always choose the cards you
are dealt in life, but you do have a choice how
you play your hand, and I prefer to focus on the
good things.
I used to work for a major company in the
hospitality industry, but now I am a substitute
teacher and back in school finishing my long
delayed and waaaaay overdue teaching credential!
I have degrees in English and Theatre Arts (and a
bit of music thrown in to boot), and thought it
was about time I did something with all that very
expensive paperwork

I love reading...all kinds of subjects!
Mysteries, great literature and the occasional
sappy romance all litter my bookshelves. I freely
admit to having (forgive the pun) an appetite for
the Food Network, and love to try out recipes I
see there from time to time. I frequently park on
the Sci Fi Channel, and never miss "Antique
Roadshow," "History's Mysteries,"
and "If Walls Could Talk." Guilty
Pleasures? (blushes) Monty Python, Dr Who, and
home decorating shows like Changing Rooms and
Trading Spaces.
I love doing genealogy and volunteer at our local
Family History Center.
I used to teach voice, did commercial voice overs,
play a fretted dulcimer and have filled more
callings than I can remember!
I loooooove to travel! Give me a suitcase, a
camera and a ticket and I'll be off and running!
(lol) I adore Renaissance Faires, Celtic
Festivals, Scottish Games and Pow Wows!
I brake for yard sales and flea markets... (yea
verily!)
I also like to do amateur website design, and have
helped several people set up personal and family
websites. I also co-operate a music tribute
website with a friend out of Manchester,
England.
What do I want to do now? (grins and rubs hands)
Why learn to scuba dive of course!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaw! Rubber suit, here I
come!
