The ideal partner would be a man that is understanding that I have children (AND PERHAPS might want to have more children) and does not mind doing things as a family such as going bowling, fishing, playing in the snow,karaoke, camping or to the drive-in movies. It would be great to have someone to go to the gym with me (Anthem) occasionally or to go for walks in the evening.
I do know that I like men that are well groomed even if he has on jeans and a t-shirt. A family man who has deep faith in God and the Church is a must. Someone that dwells on the now and is not caught up in the hurt and pain of the past nor worries about the what ifs of the future; someone that loves children; likes to do the mundane things in life without complaining; likes to eat at home; yet surprises me with a nice dinner out. Someone that is kind, charming, and loving. I am interested in a long term relationship, not serial dating. I am unable to relocate to another state.

I like to travel-enjoy photography- scout out bargains at yard sales - ride bikes - be with friends and do things as a family such as bowling - swimming - sports - laser tag - camping. I am a college Instructor of Sociology by profession but I'm taking time off to be with my children while doing some work out of the home.
I am originally from Alabama and still have an accent as I lived in Alabama recently for a couple of years. I enjoy cooking - going to different ethnic restaurants - traveling to places I have never been - and just hanging out with friends and family at the pool or at the bar-be-que. I enjoy entertaining guests and having friends over. I am an excellent cook (at least in my mind) and I enjoying preparing elaborate meals for guests. I volunteer at the foodbank and I'm involved in community service events. My passion is photography. Cooking is my favorite hobby. I've enjoyed going on cruises. I'm not thin and need to lose weight. I am not perfect-just a single mom with all of the trials and demands this world offers. I don't have the money to travel to other parts of the world. A long distance romance is not feasible unless you plan to visit me here in Arizona and can move if a relationship materializes. I have taught college for over 12 years and I am working out of my home now so that I can be with my children.
