Hi, I'm a recently-retired "empty-nester" whose children live anywhere from Wausau, WI, to Ft. Polk, LA, and 2 in Magna. I spend a lot of time working on my genealogy, that's the one thing that takes up most of my time, but now that summer's coming I hope to be participating in some of the outdoor activities I really enjoy, i.e., fishing, camping, boating (somebody else has to provide the boat, though!). I enjoy just being outside, "birdwatching" is a good excuse to be outside! I plan to do some traveling this summer, as well. I've been a member of the Church since age 24, got married (Salt Lake Temple), that lasted 8 years, had 5 children, raised 4 by myself from the time they were 6 months to 7 years old. And they all turned out really well, even if I do say so myself!

I'm kind of shy and reserved, yet have enough self confidence to get by. I've worked in Health and Human and Services and the law during my working years.

I would like to serve a mission later on, and until then plan to do volunteer work. It seemed when the kids were home I had enough time and energy for either a JOB or a LIFE, and now that they're all own their own and there's no JOB, it's time to start working on that LIFE!! And especially time to find somebody perhaps to share it with.

My main interests are genealogy, temple work, music, and reading. I additionally enjoy outdoor activities, as previously mentioned, and enjoy traveling. I have two pet kitties that also require a lot of attention.
