I am your average girl next door. Nothing special, just me.
I hope to find friends here. If one of those people ends up being the ONE for the rest of eternity, that's great, but let's start as friends and hope for the best! I am a lot more careful than I was at 20! Even terrified at times, but with kids, a past marriage, and the loss of a best friend, I think it's pretty normal.
I can take things pretty seriously sometimes, but I love to laugh and have fun, too!! Probably too much!! A little rough around the edges maybe. One of my favorite things in the world is sitting around a campfire with friends just talking and laughing so hard you cry!!! but I can also dress up and go to the symphony (on a very rare occasion).
My favorite clothes are jeans and t-shirts along with cowboy boots...on a regular day, that's what I am wearing. Although I didn't grow up on a ranch, I see myself as a cowgirl. The mountains are where my soul feels most at home...it's the temple God made for us himself.... and for me, there is nothing better than riding a challenging trail on a good horse with good friends.
I love the Lord and try to to follow Him and still keep the faith that I should have. It's tough sometimes and all I can do is hope He is leading me in the direction I will be happiest in. I was pretty lost for a few years. But I think I am beginning to get what following Him is about. I am rusty, but trying.
Now, if you want to know my superficial likes, here goes....I am a sucker for a man with a goatee!!! Not sure why, I just like the look of it!! As for age, I really dont care how old or young, as long as it's withing reason. After all, I am looking for friends, too!!! I love a guy with a sweet face. But then, I think that speaks of inner things. I think I'll stop there....except to say that although I have other preferences, I am far more interested in the kind of man you are and the way we naturally communicate....Can we talk as friends? Can we relax in each other's company and be ourselves? Let's find out!

My hobbies currently seem to include a lot of looking for rings on good looking guy's fingers!...OK...tell me you guys dont do the same with the girls!!! It gets me absolutely nowhere (it's not like I'm gonna walk up and say "Hey! Are you LDS? OH, you're not? Too bad..."). But for now, looking is fun! Someday I hope and plan on giving it up altogether!
Animals (horses obviously!) and pretty much any other animal, I like! (My family has 2 snakes and I even like them!)
I like to paint and I just finished my first colored pencil drawing! I also quilt (very rarely these days), and doing pressed flower arrangements.
Antiques and rustic things are cool!! I have an awesome potbelly stove from the late 1800s.
I love dragons and almost anything mideval.
