Hi!

I am living in Bellevue, near Seattle. I work at Microsoft, which means I work a million hours when I am awake and only a half million when I am sleeping. I am thirty four and have been a member of the church all of my life, although inactive for most of it. I read the Book of Mormon for the first time when I was thirty. I read it two more times, read the Bible, and decided that I wanted to be a Mormon for real. <grin> I left my boyfriend, quit smoking and drinking, went back to MIT, graduated, and came to work for Microsoft. I am now working towards getting my first temple recommend and becoming endowed. Yay!!

I love books, languages, stamping (new hobby!), and am working on losing the weight I gained when I quit coffee and cigarettes (grin). I have, therefore, taken up birding and power yoga. I have not actually *performed* power yoga, but the tapes are super fun to watch! I am planning to become an avid jogger and mountain hiker, since those two hobbies are very popular around these parts, but for now I am working insane hours so that will have to wait. I did hike on Rainier recently, and that was a hoot and a holler! We saw lots of trees, rain, and no deer whatsoever. I think hiking would be more fun with deer, don't you?
