I’m in reasonable health, tall , old enough to know better, and have a quick and wry sense of humor. I have been lots of things, from a classical symphonic musician and artist to construction guy; I went back to university for some degrees and am a computer type or construction type - a builder of homes -an odd mix, and also Mathematics ond English instructor at a local college. When someone asks me if I have any questions, I usually ask "When was the Battle of Hastings?" or "When was the defeat of the Spanish Armada?" just to get their attention andmess with their minds. I think most computer people are too serious - no sense of humor and very dull.

I’d like someone who is slender, likes the outdoors, has a quick wit, and will help with all the things that make up daily living. Things are always better when someone else is helping share the load and the pressures. It is really difficult to put on a band-aid when one finger is really a dripping bloody mess. I'd like to teach you about the mountains, outdoors, and the American West. I have a little book on Russian and am trying to learn it.

I like road and mountain bikes, fishing, camping, mountains, music, reading, art-deco, kites, and flowers, and the garden. Autumn is my favorite time of year. I bought a motorcycle for myself (my first one ever!) as a reward from me-to-me for building my house. Here's something I noticed about about me-to-me gifts: they never seem to need to be exchanged. I like to notice small things: like if a lady has pretty earrings or does her hair differently, I say so
