Hi! My name is Miriam! I'm pretty silly, just like most Mormon girls. Laughing at inopportune times is the story of my life!! I love to dance, but feel extremely white if I try anything other than flopping around and making weird faces!

One of my biggest pet peeves is being overshadowed by brash flirty girls who wear trendy clothes and tons of jewelry and makeup. Why do guys go for those girls? Is there something wrong with jeans and a t-shirt with a little mascara?

I'm a fool for romance, but I'm also a realist - I know what life can dish out, and what it takes to make your way in the world. I'm genuine and caring, and I don't play games. I have an open mind, and love to ponder human nature and the gospel. I love to serve, and I think old people are the greatest (and so cute! :)!

I would say that even though I'm feminine and crave a guy who would make me feel safe and secure, I'm also pretty tough, and am confident enough to do things alone. I think girls got jipped when it comes to outdoor stuff. How come the scouts got to go on awesome 5-day hikes, and we got to bake cookies? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love to bake cookies (and eat them!), but I would love to go on a hike and go swimming in a lake or something.

I don't mind if a guy is really into sports, as long as he doesn't expect me to love them as ardently as he does (they're not my favorite thing - I prefer just being outdoors, like camping or climbing trees). I'm a total night owl, and even though it's incredibly hard to get me up, I also love early mornings! I like to sit on my roof sometimes and just watch the sky.

I'm constantly striving to be an "elect lady" (D&C 25). I want to be more classy and reserved, but I think I'm actually just a weirdo. :)

I love the gospel, and am always excited to learn new things about it. The church is my life. I'm even thinking about going on a mission. I like to read, and even write a little for fun. And, like every other LDS girl, I play the piano (that's actually my calling at church), and I can kind of sing (my dad totally sounds like an opera singer - I'm extremely jealous!!).

I love animals, especially kitties and snakes, and even used to have a kitten with Spinabifida. His name was Toulouse, and he had a wheelchair and everything - he was my baby. Unfortunately, I had to put the little darling to sleep. :(

I can't go a day without milk. :)

I like to listen to all kinds of music, but right now, some of my favorite artists are Josh Groban, Celtic Woman, and Frank Sinatra. My favorite movies are "It could happen to you," "Return to me," "Rad," "Memoirs of a Geisha," and "Midnight Madness," along with "Gone With the Wind" and all of those old black and white movies. I like to swing dance, and would love to learn to waltz and do all that ballroom stuff! It's so much fun!

I honestly do not like Arizona - the weather is terrible! I would like to move to Washington or something since I absolutely LOVE the rain!!!

I'm the youngest of 7, and love to hang out with my gi-normous funky family. I adore kids, and have 13 neices and nephews (with two more on the way)! I can't wait to have kids of my own!!

I'm looking for anyone who's willing to talk or make friends, and wouldn't mind finding some romance, although I'm not ready to get married just yet. :)

I'd love to have gospel discussions, too, if anyone is interested! I am always amazed at the new things I learn about the gospel every single day. I love hearing other people's views and ideas!
