Hi, I’m looking for someone who is looking for me. I believe in time with friends. I have never been the type to “play games” but I love to be active and have lots of fun. I’m trusting and not possessive. I want someone who loves to talk and is always coming up with fun new topics; someone who can be my best friend first and eternal lover second. I love to cook and take good care of things around me (but I’m not a clean freak). I love to be spontaneous but it’s nice to have a few things on the calendar. I have a degree and a career but when I meet my eternal companion I do not want to end up being responsible for bearing & raising the family, doing most of the homemaking plus being a primary financial provider for the family also. I want to raise a righteous family in a loving, happy, fun, and spiritually led home. A career was never my primary goal. I hope to find someone with as much ambition and variety of interests as I have. I love keeping fit, hiking, camping, traveling, “real” dancing (ballroom, swing, and folk-type mostly) and also everything classical (theatre, music, art). Music is a plus (if you play something, sing, or just appreciate great music). I want to meet a man who wants to be by hero.

I love doing many things. I love talking with people who enjoy having fun and laughing and talking about silly things, but I also like hanging around people who can initiate and sustain intellectually and spiritually stimulating conversations.

Outdoors I like traveling, seeing historical sights, visiting temples, enjoying nature, hiking, biking, camping, horse back riding, water and snow skiing, snow mobiling, seadooing, four wheeling (quads), boating, snorkeling (in Hawaii), surfing, bonfires on the beach, watching sunsets from my roof (or wherever) and I'd like to try a few new things some day (not sky diving though I don't think).

Indoors I enjoy being with my family and friends, singing with my brothers and listening to them sing 4 part harmonies, playing the piano, playing games (things like a game called “chicken foot” you play with dominoes, skip-bo, phase 10, pantomime famous people, etc). I love live theatre and concerts (not hard rock), good movies, cooking, education week at BYU, reading good books on all topics, and I love family prayer because we always get hugs afterward from everyone. It is the perfect end to any perfect day and everyone who knows our family loves being at our house when it's family prayer time. My dad heard a psychologist lecture one time on the importance of hugs and psychological health. He believed that the more hugs you get the more healthy you will be.
