I am a person interested in real, honest, everyday kind of people. I love children and I love teaching. I am a warm, friendly, giving kind of person. I've been told I'm strong and independent, but I have a soft side as well. I am looking for a confident, strong, independent person who believes in giving something back to the world we live in.

I love cooking, reading, studying. I like to ride horses, but can't stand the rental prices! I like to play with kids. I love theatre, especially musicals. I love movies, especially sci-fi. I'm a big-time "Trekkie" and have quite a few museum quality Trek pieces. I love to travel and do things spontaneously. I love mountains and beaches and warm places. I absolutely detest snow skiing. I like to fish, but haven't had the opportunity for years. I used to ballroom dance, but can't seem to find anyone else who still does (I like dancing in general). I like most music, but country is my favorite. I like foreign things and have traveled extensively. Some of my pet projects involve working with homeless and underprivileged children.
One more thing...I like animals and have a dog. Love me, love my dog...(and my kids, of course!). I also enjoy golfing, but I'm not very *Email Blocked* you could teach me a thing or two. I enjoy most sporting events as well.
