Hello from the flatlands of Northwest Ohio! I wanted to write something witty or comical, but can’t think of anything right now so I’ll just start typing. I originally never thought I would be on an online dating service, but due to the lack of LDS single women my age, circumstances warrant it and have been here for over a year now. Ohio, and its surrounding states are not the booming Mecca of LDS singles. I have made a few acquaintances via this service and some others, but have not met the one that has knocked my socks off. I am patient and will wait until Heavenly Father brings me together with her. I have been married twice and have a daughter from each marriage. I know you’re probably wondering what’s wrong with me if I’ve been married twice. My first wife had an affair and my second marriage just didn’t work out. There’s my side, her side and the truth is somewhere in the middle. I have had a lot of life – experience to grow and learn from and honestly believe that our past successes and failures are what make us the person we are today. We can choose to build upon those experiences and grow or dwell and become stagnant. If you haven’t stopped reading yet then kudo’s to you.

I am a fun person to be around, pretty laid back and am outgoing. I’m also, intelligent, loving, have a big heart, creative, financially and emotional stable. I love movies, restaurants, and music of all kinds, cuddling, conversation, learning new things, and excitement. I am looking for someone with the same or similar interests, roughly + or - 10 years of my age, to have some fun with, long-term commitment optional. I love to travel, so location isn’t all that important.

Last of all but probably most important I hate playing games when it comes to relationships and the topic of the heart and emotions because I have seen what friends have been through. I also know from first hand experience what it feels like to have your heart broken. It doesn’t happen very often anymore because I know how to protect myself from that, so be honest with me and I’ll be honest with you. I am a very straightforward, truthful person and follow my heart always when it comes to relationships. If you take the time to write me, I’ll take the time to write you back and expect the same in return. It’s only polite.

I love being outdoors. I love all the seasons but it's a tie between summer and winter. I love boating and grew up on Lake Erie sailing, power boating and jet skiing. I love any type of water activities including water parks and amusement parks. They haven't made a roller coaster big enough and fast enough for me. Winter brings snow and snowmobiling. Although I have never owned a snowmobile, I love going. I'm not much of a skier, but have a great skiing story, Ask me about it. Volleyball is my favorite sport. I play indoor several times a month at church and have played league sand and mud volleyball (Way Cool!!). I also like playing softball, football, darts and pool. I can't ice skate but love going to college hockey games.

I also drive M1 tanks with the Ohio Army National Guard. That is pretty fun. I love going to the shooting range with my roommate to target shoot, but don't get to do that very often. As far as domestic skills go, I can cook pretty well, make a mean Chicken Sausage Gumbo, bake, iron, wash my clothes without shrinking them, and clean although you wouldn't be able to tell from my room.
