I find it very difficult to describe myself in an objective manner. Straightforward communication is vital to me. I tend to take life seriously, so I enjoy being with someone who will make me laugh. I'm a fairly low-maintainence woman who looks to the needs of others before my own. I'm pretty conservative and only take carefully calculated risks. I look for the best in others. A desire to be obedient to correct prinples is a cornerstone of my life. I love to share all my thoughts with someone special and want to feel that I will be listened to and valued.

The last of my six daughters just graduated from high school, so they are all out of the house. I would adore being an involved grandmother, but they all live far from home. (The family tradition is to spread your wings and fly.) The lessons learned from parenting are invalueable and I look on my chldren as my proudest accomplishment.

I love quilting, knitting, sewing, etc. (Ask me about my "Grandma boxes"). I'm a decent cook but need to have an appreciative audience to make it worth my time. I like my home to be ordered, but I'm not a neat freak. A home is a place where people should be able to enjoy their interests and not a show place for the admiration and envy of others. I enjoy classical music and good literature. Oh, and I love square-dancing!
