I kicked off a mid-life crisis a few years ago. I lost a little weight and joined the National Guard. I quit my job and shipped off to basic training at 37 years of age. I had an accident and tore up my knee and am still at Ft Sill after more than a year.

If all goes well, the military will train me as a medic and upon returning I will be going back to school to put that training to use in completing a paramedics program and possibly continuing in more medical training for a new career. I'll get to go to school for two years before I am eligible to be deployed. Don't worry... it's in my contract!

I plan to spend 20 years in the Guard, so if that doesn't work for you or you can't deal with that... better that we figure that out now!

I also volunteer with the red cross and teach CPR and First Aid as well as work in disaster relief.

I want kids and a place in the country. Honestly, I want the fairy tale... I just have to find somebody that will help me create it!

I love to snow ski (after two knee surgeries, I hope I can still do that). I enjoy camping, canoeing, and cycling. I was an exchange student in Sweden after High School and I love to travel. I've seen a lot of Europe but I want to see more! Want to come?
