Hi!

I am here to meet others and develop friendships. I am not seeking a romantic relationship right now - though it is my fervent desire to find romance and commitment down the road. I am hoping to develop friendships and to learn to be a better person along the way. I have jumped into relationships very quickly in the past and consider this a great weakness of mine. My greatest wish and desire is to find myself in a trusting, devoted romantic relationship, but this time I am planning to let the Lord decide the timeframe...

I am not terribly outgoing, but not an introvert either. I enjoy the company of others in smaller settings. I enjoy peace in my home and I enjoy my children. I tend to be the quiet one in a group, unless there appears an opportunity for a corny joke - my 5 year old thinks I'm hilarious!

I am not driven by money, though I respect what money can provide. I am not careless with finances and would rather spend more on quality than less on stuff that won't last.

I have a lot of things I need to improve, but I am a devoted and honest friend. I value goodness and consideration and hope to find others who feel the same. Consideration for others and kindness in general are qualities I value highly. The Gospel is very important to me, and though I have lots of room for improvement, this is where I want to be and where I plan to spend my mortal life.

I like playing basketball with my boys, I like biking with my kids, and I like mountain biking with friends. I like many activities and like to try new ones, so I am not expert at any, and I'm ok with that! I like tennis and like playing softabll and volleyball.

I have a lifted off-road vehicle and love to climb rocky trails and crawl the rocks around Moab. This is something that most in my family enjoy (my 16 yo daughter likes it if we stay in a motel!)

I enjoy cooking, though having to do it everyday does take some of the joy away! I am enjoying it more lately as my kids and I explore new recipes. I enjoy reading and listening to many kinds of music. Music has always held a special place in my heart. I can't sing a lick though, but I still sing in sacrament meeting anyway (not too loud in consideration for others!)(my 9 yo son read this and told me he thinks I sing louder than I think. Hmmm)

I like to build things, mostly woodworking. I like to fix things on my house or vehicles, though if it takes too long, I call a professional. I know my limitations!

I love watching movies, though do not like the bad stuff in movies, so limit myself to edited movies, LDS movies or kids movies. I love most of the kids movies coming out nowadays. My youngest loves Ice Age the meltdown and I have watched this with her at least 20 times in the last 6 months!

I enjoy Winter sports - sledding, skiing and boarding (switched for 2 years just so I could ride with my kids- ok, but I'm back skiing now!).
And playing in the snow with kids is one of my favorite things.

I like to camp, and have boys getting to that age, so we have all kinds of plans. I also really like vegetable gardening - one of the most peaceful activities there is. I love playing in the dirt I guess!

Speaking of playing in the dirt - I have to admit to some immaturity... I drive a lifted suburban on big tires that is built for climbing the rocks in Moab. Something like that might upset the garden club ladies, so fair warning. Oh, and it is kinda loud...
