Someone once asked me what things I would want to know before I married someone? Well let’s see, I would want to know what kind of relationship he had with his dad. Did he look up to his dad and what kind of father he had? Does he have strong sense of family? Will be he a good dad and father to my two children and our children? Does he look forward to dinners with the family after work, fun time with the kids on the weekends, and one night a week we go out, just the two of us. Has he prepared himself to be a good provider? This is important so we always have our material needs met. It is my belief that guys who have good fathers end up being good husbands and fathers. That would be important to me.

Then I would want to know if he is leader, knows how to take charge both at home and at work, so I can feel safe knowing that when things get out of control, he can step in and make them right.

I want a guy who is supportive, who will boost my ego with plenty of praise and stands behind me no matter what. This is important to me because while I like to run things, I don't see myself as a Lone Ranger.

I want a guy who is responsible, who can be relied upon to do what he says he will do. This is important to me because I need someone who can be my equal partner when it comes to doing the stuff that’s not fun as well as the stuff that is.

I want a guy who is motivated. I want someone who is driven to succeed in every aspect of his life. This is important to me because I want to live like a queen and my kids to live like princes, not paupers.

The last thing I would want to know is this guy stable so that I can feel safe and comfortable because he is solid. This is important to me because I work hard to be reliable and can't stand people who don't reciprocate.

Cooking, baking, dining out, gardening/landscaping, crafts, candles, movies/videos, dancing, music/concerts, travel/sightseeing, county fairs, going to parties and get togethers, swimming, reading scriptures, attending church and learning new stuff.
