Can I just say that the profile headlines on this site are a little blunt? I mean, "36-year-old woman from Salt Lake City, UT" ... makes me feel like an exhibit at the zoo... or maybe at the museum of natural history.

My interests are pretty varied and include: reading/writing, photography, movies, theatre, classical music, sports & other physical activities (like hiking, skiing, volleyball, basketball), and travel (anywhere I've never been before, but especially anywhere with a beach). But above and beyond all that, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.
