And now for something completely different . . .
(Monty Python fan)
I hate trying to introduce myself. I'm always at
a loss for words, which I seldom am.
I really like cheeses, most of the many I've
tried. I adore how stange aardvarks and
duckbilled platypuses look. I enjoy watching
movies and strange television shows like Arrested
Development, the American and British versions of
The Office, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and many
others which shall not be named. I read more than
I should; it's like an addiction that I want to
stop but can't. I'm moving to Provo from Normal,
IL to attend BYU and complete my undergraduate
degree. Yes, there are an infinite amount of
jokes that I have heard living in a town called
Normal for the past five years; and I can honestly
say that I, myself am not even close to normal,
but not really abnormal either, and I've never
been Abby Normal. I enjoy mocking my very good
friends and being polite to everyone else and I
love acting in various theatrical productions put
on by community theatres.
I'm the oldest of eight, all of whom are spread
all over the country. I spent my life moving
around with my parents. I moved nine times before
I moved to attend BYU in 2001. I left BYU for
about five years and lived with my Grandmother in
Illinois and cared for her through a long illness
until she died a year ago. I know, what a sob
story. On a lighter note: I love my life, my
family and everything I've done so far. And I
hope to do a whole lot more.
That's all. I can't think of anyting else to say.
Voila.

Right now my second home, after work, is the
theatre. I love acting in almost anything the
local community theatres put on. Whenever I do
get home, I love to read or write. At work
whenever I have extra time, which isn't often I
write poems about office supplies and post them on
my blog www.officepoetry.blogspot.com. I love
going out to movies and paying money to sit in
that large dark room and being immersed in a new
story or person's life. I love old films, new
films, foreign films, any good film. Then after
all that, in all my infinite spare time, I like to
watch good television shows, like Lost, House, The
Office (both versions), and many other shows on
dvd that have ended or been cut down in their
prime because of ratings-conscious networks. I
also adore going to almost any kind of museum,
hiking in parks and reserves (somewhere I can get
dirty), and I love going to hear good music
whenever I have the chance.
