Hi. I guess I'll tell you a little about myself
first. I'm recently divorced-about a year now. I
have five kids ranging from 23 to 14, and my
favorite days are when I'm with them.
Let's see, I grew up in Southern California but
have lived in Utah and Idaho the past 20 years or
so. I got a job at a software company in Utah (I'm
a technical writer) right after I graduated from
BYU and just stayed here, minus a four-year stint
in Idaho recently.
I love the Lord and try to place Him first. I'm
certainly not perfect at it, but I'm happiest when
that's what I'm trying to do. I attend the temple
often and find a lot of comfort in doing that.
I am looking to get to know someone with similar
interests, though it's always good to try new
things. It's most important to me that I meet
someone with a strong spiritual foundation and who
is family-centered.
It's been a long (very long) time since I've even
thought about getting to know someone as a friend
and possible companion, so just know that this is
a little unnerving for me. (I "almost"
signed up for a service like this half a dozen
times.)
My work and staying in touch with my kids keeps me
busy, but I'd like to find time for a relationship
with someone who is kind, caring, and loving. (A
little mutual attraction wouldn't be bad either.)

My interests are mainly reading (mostly classic
literature and non-fiction), music (I play piano),
going places (love to drive to places I've never
been), and watching football and basketball
(thought I'd better mention that up front).
