I think I’m a pretty upbeat and happy woman who
prefers to see the positive in the world instead
of the negative.
There is so much joy and happiness in our families
and friends and in life that that is what I prefer
to focus on.
My children are my greatest accomplishments and
what I am the proudest of in my life.
It’s amazing to me how much love the human heart
can hold.
There are so many blessings in my life; and the
blessings I get from my son’s life and example
always amaze me. I have a daughter and a
daughter-in-law that are both amazing young women.
My daughter is not a member of the Church, but
supports her brother and me in our beliefs and
lifestyle.
I joined the Church six years ago and have never
been happier or more at peace. I must admit that
it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,
and it changed my life in ways I never
imagined.
Having said that, I must also admit that after six
years I am tired of sitting alone without family
by my side on Sundays. You miss out on so many of
the blessings Heavenly Father has provided for us
as members of His Church when you’re single.
You have no one to have FHE with, no one to set
goals with or to pray with; no Priesthood holder
in the house, the list goes on and on doesn’t
it?.
It’s not that my life is unhappy, because it’s
not, I have a wonderful life; or that I’m
lonely, because I’m not. I have just come to
realize that I don’t want to be single forever;
I want to share my life with someone.

Some of the activities I enjoy are spending time
with family and friends (don’t we all?),
different Church activities, reading, antiquing,
boating, exploring new areas, activities and
ideas. I love entertaining and cooking,
re-decorating, and dancing. I love the mountains
in the winter and summer and the coast on cold and
windy days.
I guess I will end by saying that if anything
I’ve said sounds interesting, or if you’d like
to know more about me, just ask!
