I'm a pretty down to earth and intellectual funny guy who believes in living life to the fullest everyday by incorporating as much laughter as possible. I consider David Letterman to be a mentor of sorts and I think he's taught me more about life than all my scout masters combined! I'm originally from the DC area but moved out west some years ago to get away from that crazy humidity and to be closer to my grandmas famous sweet rolls!

I have a background in photojournalism but some years ago realized I qualified for the compulsive shoppers 12 step program. Consequently, I eventualy transitioned into the more stable insurance biz where I now reside with a more manageable $30 doctors office visit co-pay!

I'm looking to meet a woman who enjoys life and laughter as much as I do and someone who enjoys hanging out without all the drama of the usual dating scene. I think I'm a kind, considerate and very giving person and hopefully I can meet a woman who can appreciate these qualities and will be my best friend!

My favorite hobbies are travel, scuba diving, photography, skiing, horseback riding, hiking and soccer. I love cultural stuff but I'm also hip to the outdorsey thing like camping out in Africa for 2 weeks - which I did in 2004 - what a rush!

I'm hoping to get a dog soon - now if I can only find a small one that won't ruin the new carpet in my condo - any suggestions??
