I am a bright and caring person. I have just recently begun to emerge from the protective shelter of withdrawal after the loss of my husband of 25 years. I am now ready to share my gentle, loving spirit with someone. I have a great sense of humor and I am a great cook. I love adventure and new experiences. You will look long and hard before ever finding a more loyal soul.

Communication is very important to me. That is probably code for, "she likes to talk a lot!"

I love to cook and watch football and classic movies. I love the kind of mvies they just do not make anymore. I like all kinds of music with the exception of music with offensive lyrics. I listen music every chance I get.

I have three wonderful grandchildren with whom I like to spend time doing anything they like, especially anthing that reminds me of their dad!

I like to travel but love returning home. I am comfortable staying in or going out. I love Disneyland and my sofa and remote control.

But, my favorite pasttime is reading. I am a bibliophile of the highest order! I am especailly interested in the Civil War with a special focus on Gettsyburgh and Lincoln. I also love Irish legend and lore. Reading has enriched my life so much.
