I am a new convert; I began the missionary discussions last summer and joined the church in August. Since then, I have been called to visit teach 5 wonderful sisters, organize the childcare for the Relief Society Enrichment nights, and serve as the Mia Maid Advisor.

I have been attending Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Houston. After much prayer, I have recently quit the program to spend more time with my children which I currently homeschool.

I am not sure what my present future has in store but I am open to the Spirit and will follow.

Currently, I am attending the LDS Institute and I really enjoy it. We are studying the Old Testament and I am learning it all over again in a new light. Its amazing how the restored gospel can give so much more meaning to the truth that I already knew.

I am looking for someone who will bless my family, will be a good role model for my children, and will be my best friend. Someone who takes their callings and covenants seriously and someone who is looking forward to being married in the Temple.

I am very interested in Children and Families. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology. I have studied Family Systems Theory. I really find the family to be a Blessing.

I am also interested in Art. I have drawn and painted on my free time (which is very little these days).

I love teaching my children and being able to observe their learning. We are members of the local CTR Beacons of Light Homeschool Group.

I enjoy the outdoors. I love camping, hiking, biking, fishing, etc. However, I have not had many opportunities to enjoy these things in the past few years due to school. I did participate in ROTC my last year in undergrad and enjoyed it.

I love serving at church. I take my callings seriously and enjoy working with the teens.
