Ok, first of all, I didn't give them any money yet, so unfortunately, I can't really read anything or send much. (looks like maybe they've changed things because I've gotten a couple of readable emails.) I might have to do something about that or stick to networks that make comunication easier even for cheep or poor people.
I like to have friends and meet new people sometimes. I'm on a couple of other LDS dating sites, and I thought maybe I'd try this one and see how it is. "pals" sounds a little less like dating, so maybe I can just meet some random friends.
Kids love me because they think I'm one of them, and I remember what it's like to be a kid.
If a guy thinks I should like him just because he likes the way I look, I know he's not my type.

I play with clay on my porch while watching the local suburban wildlife, mostly birds and squirrels. I have 2 cats and too many fish. I like camping and hiking and spelunking and climbing and almost everything outside, as long as it isn't too hot and sunny. Gardening is good too.
I think I can ID most US Birds, but If I haven't seen it before, I might need to look it up. I can tell you about some other critters too, and plants and fungi and stuff. I try to keep in practice by saying the common and scientific names of any plant I recognize as I walk by it. I can often tell you what the scientific name means too. I like the California ground cuckoo.
Ive been helping as a volunteer victim for Comunity Emergency Response Teams, but I haven't done the training myself yet. I just let them try to rescue me, and I usually complicate things for them by pretending like I only understand Spanish or ASL.
