I am working on re-learning English due to recent extensive dental work. The surgery resulted in my sounding a little German/British. It's cute (I'm told) -- but, very frustrating to hear someone else's voice when I speak!

I enjoy conversing with people, exploring how we think, behave, change. I like to read. I enjoy driving and swimming and talking. (Although, not (always) at the same time, nor in that order, necessarily.)

I enjoy hearing the English language spoken properly and well. And, I have an ear for dialects and have been known to "launch" into them at a moment's notice....or without notice. *grin*

I enjoy doing a little gardening...herbs, veggies, fruit. I love flowers - giving and receiving them. I like mini-golf and would enjoy really learning to golf. I like hands-on things...like repairing my car, washing dishes, figuring out electrical problems, giving massages. I enjoy attending arts events.

I enjoy walking, swinging, waterfights and helping my brother and sister-in-law with the 4th of July carnival. I was raised in small(er) towns and enjoy riding horses, hauling hay (driving the hay truck), and raking leaves. I like camping, especially fires and stories. And, I like to sleep in my own bed at night. I've traveled a little in this country and Europe -- and, I expect to do more of that.

I love learning - teach me what you like to do and I'll do it with you. *smile*
