I'm 29 and divorced. I don't have any children and am in the process of losing weight. I am open and honest and eager to learn. I have been feeling a giant hole in my life and a friend of mine has told me about LDS and she has been a missionary to me. She lives in CA, but we speak daily via email if nothing else. I am in the process of learning and preparing to join the church.

Right now I am looking for friends in the area to help me along the way. I haven't gone to church yet, because I can be shy at first and I am still taking baby steps. I realized I needed God in my life more and this is calling to me so I am reading the Book of Mormon and am trying to get my nerve up to go to the church.

I realize that one of the best ways to find a relationship is through friends and I am hoping for that, but I want to make sure that it is done correctly with God in the center of it. She gave me a quote that I am holding close to my heart, "To know His will you must be committed to do it. The words 'Thy will be done' written in the heart, are the window to revelation."- Elder Henry B. Eyring.

I enjoy movies, dinners, walks, I like looking at odds and ends. I enjoy snuggling and cooking and baking. I am a student at the moment going to school at night and working full time in the day. I am studying business with a focus on human resource management, though I love studying psychology. I am rather laid back and I have a fondness for animals, especially cats.

I do like winged things. I have a collection of angels, fairies and gargoyle statues.

I like disney things (especially tinkerbell and stitch).

I love writing with my friend and writing in general and I love to laugh. I also really enjoy singing and music.
