I'm very lucky. I have a great life and would like to find someone to share it with. I grew up in Idaho and moved to California when I was 18. Since 50 is the new 30, I am only 33 years old! As far as good looking, you can judge for yourself, but I get plenty of honks and waves when I'm driving with my top off (of my convertible!!) While raising my children I managed to get an AA in Home and Family Science. I play piano, organ and like to sing - (especially in the shower). I am very active in church, in fact it is the center of my life. I have served in Young Woman for many years, as Ward organist, Stake missionary and now I am teaching Sunbeams. I am a little bit reserved (shy) but have a good sense of humor and love to have fun. It takes me a while to get to know people, but I am a very loyal friend. My Sunbeams think I am totally awesome and we all know how brutally honest 3-4 year olds can be. My biggest fans are my cat - Tiny and my Australian Shepherd - Koala.

I am passionate about the Church. I was born a member, decended from Mormon Pioneers on both sides of my family. I lapsed for a little while in my 20s but came back stronger than ever. My favorite calling so far has been in Young Women and also as organist. I relate really well to teenagers and before I moved to Lincoln, I often threw pool parties for the YM and YW in my ward. It was great fun and I miss those times. The ward I am in now is the "Newly Weds and Nearly Deads" and there is a serious lack of youth. I guess I will just have to wait for the Sunbeams to grow up. President McKay was the prophet when I was growing up and he still has a special place in my heart, but I have loved all the prophets. I have been attending Education Week in Provo or Hawaii for many years and love the spiritual stimulation. Activity in the Church is my greatest motivation.

I like to travel, read, go to movies, ride horses. I love animals because of their unconditional acceptance and devotion, and I enjoy spending time outdoors. I try to excercise regularly, but would rather play to stay fit. My favorite thing is to spend time with my family - swimming, playing games, hanging out, laughing. I'm not really good at sports, but I'm a "good sport". I try, and even enjoy watching. I enjoy reading historical novels and recently read "The Constant Princess" which was about the Princess of Spain who was the daughter of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand and she went on to become Katherine the Great - Queen of England. Some of my favorite authors are Clive Cussler, Dean Koontz, Jean M. Auel, in addition to the great LDS writers.

I travelled to Sri Lanka after the tsunami where I helped to rebuild houses, I worked in an orphanage and I taught English at the local school there. I became very attached to the people that I met there, especially the boys at the orphanage. I had the opportunity to share the gospel with some very special friends there, but there are currently no missionaries in Sri Lanka, so it is difficult waiting for them to be able to join the church. Overall, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

I seem to be somewhat digital camera challenged. I just got back from San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, where I took a bunch of great new pictures to post and just found out that for some reason they were not stored on my camera. And it was so much fun! I went horseback riding on the beach, on a Rhino safari, snorkeling, zip lining, and oh yeah - shopping.
