Sometimes my abdomen gets really sore from laughing so much. There is humor everywhere in life. I try not to take myself too seriously. I believe that laughter is a good thing.

I am a pretty happy, well adjusted person. But I would love to meet some new friends (to replace the people who keep getting married and disappear from your life).

Most people would say that I am outgoing and personable. What they don't know is that when I was young I was painfully shy. I have worked hard to overcome my timid nature and to become more of a people person.

Honesty, gumption, drive, kindness, strong work ethics, thinking about others above self, not "following the crowd in every whim" and learning new things every day are all very important to me.

Reading (I love classics, gospel books, & children's pop up books (which I collect).

Running (I am still trying to get back into shape. I ran some before my mission. I broke my ankle in a few places a couple of years ago and haven't done much running since. Someday I would love to run a marathon).

Cleaning (yes, I am a little bit of a neat freak, but not always..just depends on life at the moment)

Movies, plays, and theater (I am not a participant, just a spectator :)).

Music (piano lessons (I am a novice in this area), singing in the shower, listening to country, alternative, or rock & roll)

Work (I am way too much of a workaholic sometimes...what's a hobby? I used to teach High School, which was great but sooo stressful. I now work in an office that allows me to leave my work at work.)
