Hello...
Where your treasure is, there shall your heart be,
also. Given the present situation, in the absence
of a true eternal companion, that which I treasure
most is my children. I love the Gospel, my
Heavenly Father,
my Savior. I have a testimony of the
atonement and its effect on my life.
I love life, nature, peace, America,
music, art, and building beautiful
things. I believe in miracles, and in
leaving people better than I found
them.
I have learned much in the past couple of
years.
Those qualities I seek in an eternal companion
are the very ones I am working to become. Humor
is a great tool to help along the way when my life
doesn't go quite as planned.
I am very patriotic, and consider myself a
conservative. I work hard, and cheerfully, yet at
this time in my life, I find myself in the
position of needing some help from others. At
times I wonder if there is room for compassion and
charity in true conservatism.
Patience is one of my strongest talents, I guess,
if you don't include the category of wanting to be
sharing my life with a good patriarch.
This profile essay is years old. I would add to
this that after several years of being single, I
have learned alot. I am enjoying being single to
some extent, but when I get the chance to date a
guy with kids, I am in my element. People say I
should have been a teacher...but I say that I
would not have wanted to get burned out with 30
kids at a time....
I am currently Ward Chorister. I love music, and
enjoy singing Karaoke and dancing.

Music, art, any and all learning. I enjoy
singing, whether with a choir or soloing. I have
recently discovered Karaoke, and love it. For
listening, I enjoy all types of music, not to
include rap, which I don't consider music. Most
of the time, I like country music best, and I
think of it as purely American. Well, I do like
classic Rock n Roll, and some of my son's Rock is
pretty good, too.
I share my son's hobby of Astronomy with him, and
I enjoy it very much. I am very interested in
geology, and the creation sciences.
Family is very important to me, and my favorite
activities center around quality time with my
children. Outings are simple most of the time,
but just being together and joking around,
throwing a frizbee at the park, swimming, hiking,
skiing, exploring at the beach, bring me joy. I'd
like to someday learn to fly, I mean in an
airplane. This is the year that I promised myself
I would go skydiving...yikes...how did it get here
so fast??
