What do I want? Hmmmm... Well - I doubt my answers are too different from most people's answers. But through my life's experiences, I have learned a few things that I know I do want. I want a family unit - one where family comes first, and work comes second or third. I want dinner together, family home evenings, and camping trips during the summer. I want a best friend, a partner, and somebody who will remind me not to take myself too seriously. Oh yeah - and I need somebody to tease too!

I work full time - and I love having a career. I value my education (I have a master's degree in Survey Methodology). I love planning and organizing the logistical details of camping trips, enrichment nights, work events, and a trip to take my son to see the trains in Pennsylvania. The hardest part about living across the country from my family is not being able to have Sunday dinner with them, and playing Scrabble afterwards.

I like to keep myself anxiously engaged in a good cause! My three-year-old son and I enjoy scoping out fun activities in the DC area. I have recently started running, and just finished my first 5K. Although I have no formal training - I also started painting.

If you were to ask me what my favorite season is - I would have to say 'winterspringsummerandfall' because I just think they are all pretty amazing. I grew up in the desert (Las Vegas) and now that I live on the East Coast - I can't get over the fact that there really are 4 distinct seasons - and I have been here for over 9 years now!!!
