A little about me...
I'm a fourth generation Alaskan, who of course
loves living in this beautiful state. Looking for
someone to share my life who loves Alaska as much
as I do. Money is only important to pay my tithe,
bills, and other living expenses; although a
little extra for fun would be nice. I have just
recently made a career change and am working as an
Office Manager for an Accountant here in beautiful
Soldotna Alaska. I am a bit of a loner who really
wants to change, shy at times but quick to laugh.
I'm committed to staying in Alaska at least until
my daughter graduates from high school. Then maybe
I'll look for a change. I have 3 children, a
daughter, 28, who lives in Minnesota with her
husband and 2 boys ages 2 & 3; a son, 18, who is
in the Air National Guard, lives in Anchorage; and
a daughter, 16, who lives with her dad in Kasilof.
My parents live in Anchorage, have a brother and
his family who live here in Soldotna, a sister and
her husband in Peters Creek, a sister and her
children in Rhode Island, and my baby sister and
her family in upstate New York.
How I feel about the Church...
I've been a member since July 2004 after a 20 plus
years investigating the Church. I have a current
Temple Recommend and have just recently received
my Endowment (August 13, 2005). I attend all
Church meetings at this time I do not hold a
calling, but have served as a Webelos Leader and
Ward Librian. I am still gaining my testamony, but
know that the church is true, the Book of Morman
is a true work of our Heavenly Father, and that
Joseph Smith is a true prophet as is President
Hinkley. I want to be able to attend the Temple
with my partner, share in the joys of the Church
and read Scriptures together. To be honest I am
having a hard time strengthing my faith by myself.

What I do for fun...
I love all types of pets: currently have a 16 year
old white boxer we call Honkey and a 3 year old
black cat named Antonio.
I like country music, but will listen to most
anything, and with a 16 year old occasionally in
the house that leaves the door wide open. I enjoy
reading, sewing, cross stitch, scrap booking, am
learning to knit, crochet, and fly tying. In love
to go fishing here on the Kenai River.
My children are important to me as are my to
grandsons, but I am slowly working to put myself
and a relationship as my number 2 priority after
the Church. I am looking for a longterm
relationship that will lead to an eternal
marriage, but am not looking to rush into anything
real fast, I believe that time is a necessity in
getting to know one another.
I like romantic dinners, flowers, walks on the
beach, and quite evenings on the river. If I sound
like someone you would like to meet, please
contact me.
