OK, I've been a single parent for a while now, but don't think I'll ever completely adjust...I'm looking for other LDS people to become friends with, since love can grow out of a great friendship. There are very few singles in my area, hence I am here. Honesty, openness, commitment, responsibility,and a solid foundation of belief in our Heavenly Father's church are very important to me. I believe people who truly love each other, do so because they can see the true spirit self of their spouse/significant other. Seriousness is a must when necessary, liberally sprinkled with a sense of humor and a streak of fun. I have 3 great kids---one of which lives with me. I love them all dearly and we are a package deal. You must pass muster with them, if you want to get close to me. I love to laugh a lot, and cuddling is very important too. I love to cook and don't like picky eaters. Animal-lovers welcome, but you must love cats. I like the outdoors, and the indoors too. The church is the anchor in the storms of life that we all must weather. I honestly don't know how people live without it. I have weathered many a trial in my life because of it.
I love going to the temple, and enjoy sitting in church with my daughter.

My interests are Very varied: computers, sewing, quilting, gardening, gourmet cooking, bowling, reading, movies, swap meets and garage sales ( I love a good bargain!), dancing, card games and board games, pool, pinball, fishing, camping (no tents though---bad experiences), traveling, genealogy research, painting ceramics, photography, music (anything except rap, opera, and that squeally loud stuff the kids call music) and a few things that I haven't been able to do for a while: horsebackriding, weight-lifting and volleyball. I do like to try new things too--been thinking about rollerblading. I love the outdoors--the sounds and the smells... My favorite season is Autumn, and my favorite holiday is Christmas.
