I've been burned in love before, but it's time to
try again. I'm a social caterpillar (as opposed to
a butterfly), and I'm not very good at talking to
guys I don't really know. That's why I'm trying
this method of meeting people, because things are
somewhat anonymous for a while.
I am always smiling, and I'm a great listener,
just ask my best friend who likes to rant at me.
I'll listen to your rant as well, and support your
right to an opinion about anything, I just won't
necessarily agree with you.
I have a beautiful niece and a brand-new nephew,
and I'm the best aunt (according to my niece). I
don't get to spend as much time with them as I
would like to, but any time with them is precious
to me. I have 2 kitties who I love to pieces. They
are there when I need a cuddle, but I'd like an
eternal companion to cuddle with as well.
Growing up in the church, I feel stigmatized that
I'm getting closer to thirty each day and I'm not
married with kids yet. The thing those in my ward
who look down on me don't realize is that I would
love to be married, and I am longing for children.
The Lord just hasn't blessed me with them yet.
I would like two or three kids, no more than three
years apart, but I'd like to be married for a
couple of years before they come. I want that time
to get to know my eternal companion. To really
know him inside and out, and for him to know me as
well. I am willing to work on a relationship every
day, to help it grow and develop, rather than
wither and die like I've seen happen to others.
Communication is very important, and though I've
heard the advice that you shouldn't go to bed
angry with each other, I believe that sometimes a
good night's sleep can give you a new perspective
on an issue.

I absolutely love to sing, and my lifetime goal is
to be in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir someday. I
listen to classical music rather than rock or
alternative, but I like oldies as well. I don't
really dislike any music genre, I just prefer the
classics. Music is a very important part of my
life. In fact, my friend asked me recently whether
I would rather be blind or deaf, and after a long
debate with her, I decided on blind because I
don't think that I could live without music.
However, I love to read as well. Books are my way
of escaping the drudgery of everyday life. I will
read any genre, but fantasy and science fiction
are my favorites. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and
I love Tolkien as well. They don't call him the
father of modern fantasy for nothing.
My favorite movie ever is Lord of the Rings, but I
also like romantic comedies and animated features.
Pixar Studios makes the best CG in my opinion, and
I'm excited to see their new one. Meg Ryan is one
of my favorite actresses, and Sleepless in Seattle
is my favorite movie of hers. It seems like the
romantic comedies that have come out in the last
few years have been all about the raunch factor
and how many dirty jokes they can include. That's
definitely not for me.
